Kingdom Buddies is a Special Needs Ministry created and dedicated to sharing the gospel with all children in a loving, inclusive, and accommodating environment. We provide Bible lessons through engaging storytelling and animation, along with interactive games, crafts, and worship—each thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of every child.

General Questions
1. Who is this ministry for?
This ministry serves children with special needs who may require additional support in a church setting. We strive to accommodate a range of needs, including autism, Down syndrome, sensory processing challenges, and other developmental or cognitive differences.
2. Do I need to register my child ahead of time, or can we just show up?
No, registration is not needed. Service begins at 10:30AM, stop by our welcome table and let them know you're interested in the Special Needs Ministry. They will let our team know.

3. How do you adapt lessons for different learning styles and needs?
We use a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, hands-on activities, music, and simplified Bible stories to make learning accessible. Our lessons are flexible, allowing each child to engage in a way that best suits their abilities and comfort level.
4. Do you have sensory-friendly accommodations?
Yes! We provide sensory tools such as fidget toys, noise-canceling headphones, and a quiet space for children who may need a break. Our environment is designed to be structured but not overwhelming. Your are also welcome to bring your own that might suit your child better.

Meet Jonathan Smith
As a father to twin 9-year-old boys with moderate to severe autism, he understands firsthand the joys and challenges of raising children with special needs. His personal journey has given him a deep passion for creating a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where every child can thrive and experience God’s love. Jonathan is CPR, and First Aid certified, ensuring that safety remains a top priority in the ministry. With years of experience working with youth and special needs communities, he is committed to making church a place where all children—regardless of their abilities—feel welcomed, valued, and included. His goal is to support families, equip volunteers, and help each child grow in their faith in a way that meets their unique needs.
