THE MANNER OF LIFE – What Are Your Needs?
This morning’s message centers on Philippians 4:19, “My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” I want to focus on the difference between wants, desires, and needs.
Paul will teach a tremendous truth for life centering on needs. What is a true understanding of needs within our life. How does one define a need? And this morning, what are your needs? Paul makes a very bold statement that our God will supply all your needs. No one’s needs will be left out.
This verse centers on a promise of God to us. Promises of God are so vital and helpful to each of us in our life. For the promises of God to be so vital in our life, there must be knowledge and there must be belief. Promises are a way of practicing the presence of God.
This morning, how can we understand what our needs are. How do I get my needs met? And what are some promises of God that I can take home with myself today? I know this message will inspire many of you and be a source of strength and encouragement within your relationship with God. Enjoy and be inspired from this morning’s worship service.
Encouraging One Another,
Pastor Mike
Key Scripture: Philippians 4:14-19
14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need. 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
