Unashamed
Officeonehope   -

Today we celebrate the events of Palm Sunday and also those in our church community taking the step of a public profession of their faith in Jesus Christ through baptism. Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem both humbly and boldly, riding on a donkey, fully knowing that the road ahead would lead to the cross. He didn’t hide. He didn’t shrink back. He rode forward—because of His love for us. Today, those being baptized are following in that same spirit—publicly declaring their faith, not ashamed to say, “I belong to Jesus.” As Paul wrote in Romans 1:16, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…” Baptism is a symbol of that Gospel power. It represents dying to an old life and rising again to walk in the newness of life in Christ (Romans 6:4). Let this day remind all of us: we are called to live boldly, humbly, and follow Jesus unashamedly in every part of our lives.
In His Service,
Pastor Patrick
