Small Weeds, Big Impact

In Mark 4:26-32, Jesus continues to teach in parables by comparing the Kingdom of God to a growing seed and a mustard seed. These parables remind us that God’s work often begins small and slow but His growth is unstoppable. Just like a farmer plants a seed and waits for it to grow, we are called to be faithful in sharing God’s truth, trusting Him with the results. Even the smallest act of faith—a prayer, a word of encouragement, or an intentional act of kindness—can have an eternal impact. The mustard seed, though tiny, grows into a great tree that provides shelter. In the same way, God can take what seems insignificant and use it to bless others. Let this be an encouragement to you this week: Do not despise small beginnings. Trust that God is working in ways you may not see. Keep planting seeds, keep trusting His timing, and watch as He brings the harvest.
