Ready or Not
Pastor Patrick Mesisca   -

As we continue studying Jesus’ parables, we see a strong call to be prepared for His return. In Luke 12:35-48, Jesus urges His followers to be like faithful servants, always ready for their master’s return. Just as a wise steward invests in eternity, a wise servant stays watchful and diligent, knowing that the Master could return at any moment.

Jesus calls us to live with expectancy, keeping our lamps burning and our hearts focused on His kingdom. We do not know the day or hour of His return, but we do know that He is coming. This means we must be faithful in our walk, using our time, talents and treasures to serve Him. Just as the wise builder’s house stood firm when the storm came, the faithful servant will be found ready and rewarded when Christ returns.

May we be a church that watches eagerly for Christ, not in fear, but with joyful anticipation, living each day in a way that honors Him.
