On The Road To Emmaus
Officeonehope   -

Two discouraged disciples were walking down the road to Emmaus when a “stranger” began walking beside them. They didn’t recognize that it was Jesus—risen, alive, and walking with them. As they shared their confusion and sorrow, Jesus opened the Scriptures and revealed how everything pointed to Him. It wasn’t until He broke bread with them that their eyes were opened, and they realized who He was.

That Encounter with Jesus changed everything. Their sorrow turned to joy, their confusion to clarity, and their hopelessness to hope-filled faith that led to sharing the Good News with others. They ran back to Jerusalem to tell the others, “The Lord has risen indeed!”
Every true encounter with Jesus is life-transforming. When we walk with Him, listen to His Word, and invite Him to stay with us, our eyes are opened to His presence and power. We are never the same again—our hearts burn within us, and we can’t help but share the good news that Jesus is alive!

May we, like Cleopas and his companion, walk closely with Jesus and allow Him to open our eyes to the beauty of His truth and the power of His resurrection. And we also share in their boldness to run and tell others about Him!

In the journey with you,

Pastor Patrick
