Never Forgotten
Officeonehope   -

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember those who gave everything in service to our country. Freedom is never free – it is purchased at great cost. We honor the men and women who laid down their lives so we could live in peace, and we thank God for the freedom we enjoy, both as U.S. citizens and as believers in Christ.
As we reflect on thie theme of sacrifice and remembrance, we’re reminded that our Heavenly Father also give everything to rescue us.In Luke 15, Jesus tells the story of a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep. It’s more than a parable – it’s a picture of God’s passionate, personal pursuit of every soul. He doesn’t forget, abandon, or discard the lost. Instead, He searches relentlessly and rejoices joyfully when we are found.
This weekend, as we honor those who were willing to die for our natioN, we worship the One who died to save the world. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, laid down His life so that no one would be truly lost. His rescue mission was personal – for you, for me, for all who have wandered and long to be brought home.
If you’re felling distant, weary, or unseen, know this: You were never forgotten. God’s grace is chasing after you, ready to carry you home with joy. And when even one soul turns back to Him, all of heaven celebrates. Let this Memorial Day weekend remind us not only of the cost of earthly freedom but of the priceless gift of spiritual rescue through Jesus Christ.
