From Graveyard to Grace
As we continue our journey through the book of Ephesians, we are reminded of one of the greatest truths in all of Scripture: we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:1-10 paints a powerful picture of where we once were without Christ — lost, broken, and spiritually dead — but it does not end there. Two beautiful words change everything: “But God…” In His mercy and love, God reached down to rescue us through the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What we could never earn, God freely gave through grace.
This passage is also a reminder that your past does not define your future. In Christ, you are forgiven, redeemed, and made alive. No matter what burdens you carry or battles you face, God’s grace is greater. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is still at work in the lives of believers today. God is still restoring hearts, rebuilding lives, healing families, and drawing people to Himself. We are not saved because we are good enough; we are saved because God is loving, merciful, and faithful.
As a church family, may we walk in gratitude for His grace and boldly live out the calling He has placed upon our lives. Thank you for being part of what God is doing at One Hope. Let us continue growing together, serving together, and pointing people to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
In His Grace,
Pastor Patrick
