From Far Away to Family
Officeonehope   -

As we gather this Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember. We remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. We remember loved ones whose impact still shapes our hearts today. And as believers, we are also called to remember what God has done for us through Jesus Christ.

In Ephesians 2:11-22, the Apostle Paul urges Christians to “remember” who they once were apart from Christ—separated, hopeless, and far from God. But through the cross of Jesus, those who were once far away have been brought near. Christ has torn down the walls that once divided us and has made us one family in Him. Because of His sacrifice, we are no longer strangers or outsiders, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of His household.

This weekend, may remembrance lead us to gratitude. As we honor those who sacrificed for our freedom, may we also worship the Savior who gave His life so we could have eternal peace with God. And may we continue building our lives together as His church—united, strengthened, and grounded in the hope of Christ.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Patrick
