Bringing Others to Jesus: A Reflection on Mark 2:1-12
Last week, we gathered as a congregation to discuss and vote on the revised sanctuary remodeling plans, and I’m delighted to share that the motion passed with an overwhelming majority. With 92 Yes votes and just 1 No vote, your support and affirmation are truly appreciated. Thank you for your commitment to refreshing our worship space in the sanctuary as we continue to grow together in Christ.
As we reflect on Mark 2:1-12 this morning, where the paralytic man was lowered through the roof to reach Jesus for healing, we see a beautiful message of hope. Like the friends of the paralytic, we must go to great lengths to bring other people to Jesus as well. As we enter into the Easter season with our upcoming Palm Sunday breakfast and baptism service on March 24, Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on March 29 and our Resurrection Celebration on Easter Sunday March 31, we have several opportunities to invite or even carry our friends and family members to an encounter with Jesus in the upcoming days and weeks ahead.
