Bear One Another’s Burdens
Throughout 2026, we have been walking together through the powerful letter of Galatians. Paul has reminded us again and again that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our own efforts or performance. Because of that grace, we are called to live differently—walking in the Spirit rather than the sinful flesh!
In Galatians 6:1–10, Paul reminds us that the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. God has placed us in a church family so that we can support one another, encourage one another, and help carry the heavy burdens that life places on our shoulders.
Paul tells us that when someone stumbles or struggles, the goal is restoration. No one is perfect, and all of us depend on the grace of God every single day. That is why humility and gentleness are so important in the life of the church. When we see someone hurting, discouraged, or overwhelmed, we have the opportunity to step in with compassion and help lift the load.
This is one of the beautiful things about the church. We do not have to face life’s trials alone. Whether someone is walking through grief, stress, illness, or spiritual discouragement, the Lord calls us to bear one another’s burdens and fulfill the law of Christ—loving one another as He has loved us.
As a church family, let’s continue to look out for one another. Let’s encourage one another, pray for one another, and lift one another up when life becomes heavy. And above all, let’s keep moving forward in faith, trusting that God will bring a beautiful harvest in His perfect time.
In His Faithful Service,
Pastor Patrick
