How the Gospel Took Root
Officeonehope   -

As we begin a new year together, we’re also beginning a new journey through the book of Galatians—a letter that calls us back to the heart of the Gospel: freedom in Christ.

Before we open Paul’s letter next week, this Sunday we’ll start in the book of Acts. Why? Because Galatia was not a single city or town—it was a region, made up of several churches that came to faith through Paul’s missionary work. Acts shows us how the Gospel took root in those cities, how churches were planted, strengthened, and revisited, and how deeply Paul cared for these believers long before he ever wrote them a letter.
By starting in Acts, we establish the foundation of Galatians. We see the people, the places, and the Gospel moments that shaped these churches. It reminds us that Galatians is not a cold theological document, but a pastoral letter written to real churches, facing real challenges, grounded in a real message of hope.

As we step into a new year, may God use this series to strengthen our faith, clarify our freedom in Christ, and root us more deeply in the truth of the gospel.

I am happy to begin another new year and another new journey together.

In His Service,
Pastor Patrick
