Encounters with Jesus: The Woman Caught In Adultery
Today, we continue our Encounters with Jesus series by looking at one of the most powerful moments in the Gospels — Jesus’ encounter with the woman caught in adultery. What was meant to be an obstacle to Jesus’ ministry became an opportunity for restoration and redemption. In this story, Jesus demonstrates both perfect grace and perfect truth.
His final words to the woman, “Go and sin no more,” are often overlooked in a world that prefers comfort over conviction. Too many messages stop at forgiveness and skip the call to transformation. Yet Jesus’ command is not harsh — it’s hopeful. The same Savior who forgave the woman also empowers her to live a new life. His message of mercy still extends to us today: “Go and sin no more.”
