Missionary Update
This morning, we are blessed to welcome M. and L., missionaries serving in Thailand and Laos. One Hope has been supporting the Mann’s for many years (so many that even M. and L. don’t remember when the One Hope support began). In Laos, they minister to abused and exploited children and orphans.
Due to the private nature of their ministry, today’s message cannot be live-streamed. However, the worship portion of the service will remain online for you to view during the week.
It is a blessing to be able to partner with global missionaries like M. and L., who make a clear impact for Christ by defending and serving “the least of these” as we talked about last week, if you recall the message of the sheep and goats in Matthew 25:31-46.
My prayer for all of us is that we do not lose sight of the Great Commission. We are all called to “make disciples.” This command is not reserved only for professional missionaries or ordained pastors whom local churches financially support to spread the Gospel. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20 is for the lay Christian as well.
I hope you are encouraged by the missionary work we at One Hope support, but I also hope that you are empowered and inspired to go blossom where you are planted and make disciples wherever you are located.
In His Service,
Pastor Patrick
