Vision Sunday
Join us as we come together for Vision Sunday! I’m excited to share a message inspired by Matthew 9:27-38, where Jesus heals two blind men who believe in His power. This powerful story not only highlights Jesus’ divine ability to restore physical sight but also emphasizes the importance of spiritual vision and trusting Him to reveal His plans for us.
Over the past two years, we’ve witnessed God’s incredible work in our church. We’ve built a solid foundation with our worship team, blending traditional and contemporary styles. Our worship nights and hymn sings have strengthened our bonds and deepened our faith. Through our studies of Joshua, Ruth, and the miracles of Jesus, we’ve seen God’s transformative power in action. Highlights include over 30 baptisms in the last year and a half, church attendance surpassing 200 on nine Sundays this year, and numerous powerful testimonies of healing and restoration in our community.
Despite our current strength, we face new challenges and opportunities. This week, our pre-school, active for nearly 60 years, was forced to close due to circumstances beyond our control. Although this is a sad development, we are actively seeking new Christian-based educational opportunities for our campus.
We are also in the process of hiring a children’s pastor to help attract young families and establish a vibrant children’s church experience this fall. We have found an excellent candidate passionate about achieving our goals in children’s ministry. Additionally, we plan to introduce two services in September—one choir-led and one worship team-led—to provide more prime-time opportunities for people to connect with our Sunday services.
Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” I believe God has great plans for our church, and I ask for your continued prayers and support as we move forward. With clear vision and trust in God, we can accomplish great things for His kingdom. Let us move forward in faith, confident that He will guide us every step of the way.
