II. Parables Conceal Truth from the Hardened

A. Fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy (Isaiah 6:9-10)
B. Judgment for spiritual apathy (1 Peter 2:7-8)

III. Parables Fulfill God’s redemptive Plan

A. Blessings for those who believe (Matthew 13:16-17, 1 Peter 2:4-6)
B. A stumbling stone for the disobedient (Isaiah 8:13-15)

IV. Is Jesus your cornerstone or stumbling block? (Ephesians 2:6-7)
